Job Description:
Our client, a leading insurance firm with a strong reputation in the Property Owners’ and Commercial Insurance markets, is seeking an experienced Senior Account Handler to join their team in London. This role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of valued clients, support Account Executives in driving retention and growth, and deliver tailored insurance solutions with outstanding service.
About the Role:
As a Senior Account Handler, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing client relationships. Working closely with Account Executives, you will ensure client needs are met with high-quality solutions and provide proactive management of your own portfolio. The position requires a deep understanding of compliance standards and a collaborative approach to achieving shared goals within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Client Relationship Management: Support Account Executives in retaining and growing client relationships while independently managing a personal book of business.
*Service Delivery: Provide tailored insurance solutions that meet the unique needs of clients, ensuring a client-focused approach.
*Compliance: Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements, including FCA standards and Consumer Duty obligations.
*Collaboration: Work effectively with the wider team to support seamless client operations and achieve shared objectives.
Experience and Knowledge:
*Demonstrated success in an account-handling role, including managing client portfolios and supporting Account Executives.
*Strong understanding of compliance responsibilities and regulatory standards, particularly within the FCA framework.
*Familiarity with Property Owners’ and Commercial Insurance markets.
Qualifications:
*Essential: Experience handling Property and Commercial Insurance portfolios.
*Desirable: ACII qualification or willingness to pursue it; familiarity with Acturis or similar systems.
