A leading national logistics business in Manchester.
Your new role
A key Finance Business Partner role, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager and working closely with depot Senior Management Teams.You will deliver quality reports and analysis and play a key role in decision support. This will include developing financial plans snd budgets, ensuring robust financial controls and improving processes. You will share clear and effective financial insights with senior leaders to help inform their decision-making and provide ad-hoc financial analysis, as required. You will work on cross-finance projects to deliver improvements to control, reporting, and all financial insights.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualifed accountant, with experience of a Finance Business Partner role in a large and complex business. Previous experience in the logistics & distribution sector would be an advantage, but is not essential. You will ideally have experience in supporting business transformations and general process improvements. You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be highly IT literate. You will also possess the ability to communicate complex insights in a clear and accessible way and enjoy relationship-building. This will include the ability to influence and challenge people when required.
What you’ll get in return
Initially a 10 month Fixed Term Contract, with the possibility of extension or even a permanent appointment. A generous market salary on a pro-rata basis. Hybrid flexible working from office and home.
