Reed Accountancy & Finance are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to join our Tunbridge Wells-based client on a temporary basis. This role is crucial in assisting with system changes and implementations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchase ledger processing and will be instrumental in supporting the finance team during a period of transition.
Senior Accounts Assistant Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist with the implementation of new financial systems and processes.
*Manage purchase ledger activities, ensuring accurate processing of invoices and payments.
*Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
*Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks related to system changes.
*Provide input into the improvement of financial procedures and controls.
*Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth transition during system upgrades.
Senior Accounts Assistant Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in an Accounts Assistant role or similar.
*Strong knowledge of purchase ledger processes.
*Experience with financial system implementations is highly desirable.
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
*Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
