Job Description:

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a dedicated Order Administrator to join their team. As the Order Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient shipping of products to international customers. Job title: Order Administrator
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 DOE
Location: Near Hythe
Annual leave: 20 days annual leave
Responsibilities:
*Order Management: Process and manage export orders, aligning with production schedules to meet delivery timelines.
*Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and manage all export documents, ensuring compliance with customs and international trade regulations.
*Logistics Coordination: Arrange and monitor international shipments via sea, air, and road transport; collaborate with freight forwarders and warehouses.
*Customer Service: Act as the main point of contact for international clients, providing updates and resolving any order or shipment issues.
*Inventory & Warehouse Management: Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely picking, packing, and shipment of furniture products.
*Problem Solving: Address delays, customs holds, and damaged goods; propose process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
*Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and generate export performance reports.
Experience and skills required:
*Previous Administrative experience
*Export and logistics knowledge is a distinct advantage
*Excellent communication and problem solving skills
