Social Worker – Entry Level to Experienced
Location: South West of England

The Role:
As a Social Worker, you’ll work in collaboration with other professionals to deliver statutory services under the Children Act 1989 and other relevant legislation. From entry-level to experienced positions, you’ll be part of a team that prioritises safeguarding and provides the best outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities: *Maintain registration with Social Work England and adhere to professional standards.
*Conduct thorough assessments of children’s needs and create impactful care plans.
*Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and their families.
*Provide support, advice, and resources to empower families to thrive independently.
*Prepare detailed reports for court and professional meetings, presenting as required.
*Maintain accurate records on case management systems and ensure data integrity.
*Participate actively in supervision, training, and continuous professional development.
*Deliver evidence-based interventions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
*Work flexibly to meet the diverse needs of children and families across the region.
What We’re Looking For:
We have opportunities at various levels:
Social Worker Level 1 (Entry/ASYE)
Relevant qualification in social work and registration with Social Work England.
Ability to undertake and complete the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).
Social Worker Level 2 (Post-ASYE)
Completed ASYE with demonstrated skills in statutory assessments and planning.
Experience working collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals.
Experienced Social Worker Level 3
Proven experience in statutory children’s services and safeguarding practices.
Ability to mentor less experienced staff and support their development.
Knowledge of the Children’s Social Worker Framework and the ability to apply it in practice.
Essential Skills and Attributes: *Strong communication, assessment, and analytical skills.Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work under pressure.
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
*Flexibility to travel and work across a wide geographical area.
