Job Description:
Workshop Fitter
We are looking for an experienced Workshop Fitter to help support our client based in Peterborough. The successful candidate will have experience working within a manufacturing or assembly environment and be able to read and understand technical drawings.
Job Responsibilities
*Responsible for the day-to-day assembly of machinery
*Manage own workload efficiently and timely
*Adhere to workplace processes and systems related to own area of work
*Report build or quality issues to Design department and line manager
*To be able to work as a team or as an individual to reach set goals
Person Specification
*Experience within a workshop environment
*Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly roles
*Able to read technical drawings
*Suitable candidates will display a positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to get the job done.
*Maintain a safe and clean workshop and adhere to safe working practices
Hours of Work and Pay
*Up to £26k/annum
*37hrs/week (Days)
