Gü is a premium dessert brand that thrives on innovation and creativity. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team.
Role Purpose:
This role will focus on packaging design, but it also offers opportunities to contribute to other projects, from point-of-sale materials to sell-in presentations. As the only in-house Graphic Designer, you will work closely with the Marketing team to bring our brand to life.
This Graphic Designer role will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of Gü Desserts, primarily through packaging design for both new products and updates to existing product lines across diverse markets.
Experience:
This role requires an independent and organised designer with a keen awareness of design trends, print specifications, and brand storytelling.
Proven experience as a Graphic Designer in a design agency or in-house
*brand environment.
*Strong portfolio showcasing your creative design skills, especially in packaging design.
*Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
*Knowledge of the printing process, colour profiles (Pantone, CMYK, RGB), and print specifications.
*Enthusiastic and proactive, with a continuous stream of creative ideas and a commitment to delivering exceptional design work.
*Have a genuine interest and passion for food, and a desire to work in a branded business.

Key Responsibilities:
*Receive and interpret design briefs from the Marketing team for new product packaging or updates to existing packaging
*Develop and design visually appealing and functional packaging that aligns with product aesthetics, resonates with our target audience, and maintains consistency across markets.
*Participate in creative brainstorms, contributing fresh ideas and concepts to enhance the brand’s visual impact.
*Develop and maintain brand guidelines
*Stay up-to-date with design, packaging, and point-of-sale trends, bringing insights and innovation to each project.
*Oversee multiple projects from concept through to completion
*Work with external agencies and suppliers to ensure all artwork is accurately produced
