Job Description:
One of the world’s most prestigious Private Equity businesses has an opening for a qualified financial accountant in their central finance team.
Based in high-end offices in central London this hybrid role is a great contract opportunity available for 12 months offering autonomy and exposure to senior leadership. You will need to be a technically strong well-rounded accountant who will be responsible for accurate and timely financial accounting and management information as well as more varied and rounded duties.
Duties include:
*Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual statutory financial statements (GAAP and IFRS)
*Consolidation reporting
*Involvement in the Audit process
*Monthly management information and analysis
*Subsequent analysis and decision support
*Assist in the preparation of quarterly Board packs, providing value-added analysis
*Business partnering with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
*Process improvement and increasing team efficiencies.
Skills/Experience required:
*A recognised accounting qualification
*3+ years of PQE ideally from the Investment sector, wider FS is also considered
*Experience in IFRS financial accounting
*Strong IT system skills
*Experience in process improvements
