We are seeking to recruit an outstanding English Lecturer who has experience in the delivery of GCSE and Functional Skills English curricula. You will have a proven track record of excellent teaching that inspires and engages learners, with a keen desire to share your knowledge, take part in professional development and collaborate with your colleagues in order to improve the learner experience. You will hold a relevant teaching qualification and an English specialism or be willing to work towards these.
What you will do?
The person appointed will be responsible for the planning and delivery of GCSE English and Functional Skills English curricula, which lead to high levels of achievement and positive progress.

This is a permanent, full-time post working 37 hours per week. Regional travel may be required as part of the role; therefore, use of your own transport, a current valid driving license and business insurance is essential. The starting salary will depend upon an individual’s level of qualifications and experience.
This post attracts a recruitment and retention premium meaning the salary is up to £38,948 per annum as a result of market conditions.
The College is positively committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children, young people and vulnerable adults who attend its education and training provision. All staff are expected to share this commitment. The person appointed will be required to obtain a satisfactory DBS Enhanced Disclosure.
