Harmonic are excited to be working exclusively with an Innovative SaaS Scale Up who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join the team.
The Company:
Our client is an innovative, fast-growth B2B SaaS scale-up providing an all-in-one platform management service to businesses. They operate in several countries internationally and With massive clients in the tech and energy sectors, this business is swiftly making a name for themselves in the SaaS space.

As such, they operate as a fully remote business (while hosting frequent team calls and several in-person socials for facetime!) and provide exciting benefits including unlimited holiday allowances.
This is a fully remote position, however candidates must be UK based.
The Role:
Reporting to a talented Finance Director, this Finance Assistant will contribute to the accounts payable/accounts receivable arm of the function, support with month end, and business partner with the operations department.
There is a clear progression path to becoming a Management Accountant, and the Finance Director is keen to provide experience and exposure to whatever this Finance Assistant is keen on learning, so this is an amazing opportunity for an ambitious Finance Assistant to fast-track their learnings.
The ideal candidate has 2 years of experience working as a bookkeeper or Assistant Accountant and feels confident they could hit the ground running. A knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping is key, and being able to work successfully quite independently is important.
The Duties:
*Management of the AP and AR processes for the business
*Business partnering with the operations department regarding outgoing invoices
*Processing expenses
*Bank reconciliation and VAT returns
*Supporting with monthly payroll
*Supporting the Finance Director with month-end close activities
*Ad hoc duties to support the finance department
What we need to see (essential):
*At least 2 years of accounting experience
*Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping
What we’d like to see (bonus):
*Experience in the Tech or SaaS industries
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + study support
Ideal Start: ASAP
