Job Description:
Our client is a leading aerospace company at the forefront of innovation and technology. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a motivated and skilled Stores Operative to join their dynamic team.
As a Stores Operative, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the efficient operation of our inventory and warehouse. This position involves handling aerospace components and ensuring their timely and accurate distribution to support our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Receive, inspect, and store aerospace components in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.
*Maintain accurate inventory records using an electronic inventory management system.
*Prepare and pack items for shipment, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety regulations.
*Collaborate with other departments to fulfill material requests and support production schedules.
*Conduct regular stock checks and assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
*Implement and maintain a well-organized and efficient warehouse layout.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
The hours for this position are Monday to Thursday 06:00 till 15:00 and Fridays 06:00 till 11:30. This is a temporary ongoing position, offering £12.43 per hour, with great development opportunities.
