Your new role
Will consist of;
*Manage the MIS, including downloading and entering examination components.
*Liaise with examination boards for queries and submit examination entries.
*Distribute and manage examination timetables, data collection forms, and communication with students, parents, and boards.
*Handle private candidate entries and liaise with the SEND Department for access arrangements.
*Ensure accurate starting and finishing of exams and oversee the operational management of the examination process with the Principal.
*Organise and manage invigilation timetables, train and supervise invigilators.
*Manage controlled assessment marks and ensure timely submission to boards.
*Support the BTEC Quality Nominee and inform IVs of changes and deadlines.
*Comply with JCQ regulations and manage the ordering of examination papers.
*Dispatch completed scripts to markers with accurate attendance sheets.
*Ensure the safety and security of examination rooms and materials.
*Manage predicted grades and ensure timely delivery to examination boards.
*Receive and communicate examination results from the computerised timetable package.
*Support staff in correct and timely usage.
*Complete the student census and other required returns.
*Analyse and review assessment data and trends for departmental managers and SLT, including attainment data.
*Update and maintain accurate student records, including starters and leavers.
*Maintain teacher access and permissions to internal and external systems.
*Update staff and student timetables in the MIS as required.
*Complete performance tables checking exercises.
*Generate reports/data from Praising Stars/MIS on targets, attainment, progress, attendance, and academic monitoring.
*Assist SLT and Learning Managers in identifying underachieving students.
*Support with cover arrangements in emergencies.
*Provide parents with student assessment data.

What you’ll need to succeed
Essential:
*Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths, or equivalent.
*Willingness and ability to obtain and/or enhance qualifications and training and development in the post.
*Experience of working with statistical analysis, management information and data collection.
*Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of audiences, verbally and in writing.
*Ability to use standard ICT packages including Microsoft Office and in particular Excel.
*Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
*Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality in line with data protection.
*Ability to analyse data and present in a clear and concise manner for a range of audiences.
*Ability to relate to students in a pleasant and sympathetic manner and to recognise potential child safeguarding issues.
*Understanding of academy child safeguarding procedures.
*Satisfactory DBS check.

Desirable:
*Level 3 qualification in relevant discipline.
*Experience of assisting with and/or organising and running educational examinations.
*Experience in the use of educational management information systems, including SIMS.
