Are you a Teaching Assistant with SEMH experience? Looking for your next placement within a brand-new Specialist School?
Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a passionate and patient Teaching Assistant for a temporary, full time position within a Specialist School located in Southampton. This is a temporary position but has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate!
The school is a brand-new independent specialist school based in Southampton that will place 60 students, catering to pupils with Social and Emotional Mental Health and other complex needs. They recognise the importance of truly understanding each young individual, fostering the development of positive relationships and delivering the most effective support in order to assist with the growth and development of each pupil.
As the Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Work closely with staff and external suppliers to ensure the best care for pupils on an individual basis
*Provide excellent and adaptable support to pupils (usually on a 1:1 basis)
*Be a passionate and patient individual who can bring a calm and caring demeanour to the position
*Be available five days per week for continuity reasons
*Have previous experience working with SEN/SEMH or similar
*Be available on an ASAP basis
The salary for this position is currently set between £12.83 to £15 per hour, depending on experience.
