Job Description:
Reed Accountancy is delighted to support our Coventry based client with the recruitment of a Payroll Specialist.
This is a generalist role for all payroll duties including HR administration.
Main Duties,
Payroll
*Collates and validates monthly payroll transactions.
*Take ownership for the in-house processing of payroll through Sage system.
*Audit payroll outputs and resolve inaccuracies.
*Supports the annual pay review process, providing data and administration delivery.
*Ensure HMRC Payments reconcile.
*Accurate Cost Centre allocation.
*Completion of Year End. P60’s, P11D’s, PSA’s Submissions to HMRC both Monthly and Annual.
*Support the Finance Dept with Head Count Changes with monthly reports
*Support Finance Department with Bonus Reconciliation monthly.
HR Administration 10% of time
*Administration processes of recruiting employees and onboarding.
*Performance management and improvement tracking systems
*HR, payroll, compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping.
*Maintaining employee files and the HR filing system.
*Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR Department - assisting the UK HR Manager with the implementation of services, policies, and programs.
*Maintains a database of employee contact information.
*Periodically audits the database to ensure accuracy.
*Assists in the development and updating of the Human Resources section of the intranet site.
*Keeps employee records up to date by processing employee status changes
*Maintains personnel files in line with compliance and applicable legal requirements.
This position reports directly into the UK HR Manager. There is a potential for hybrid working after successful probationary period.
The role is offering a standard 37.5 hour working week Monday through Friday.
This position would suit candidates who have a wide knowledge of Payroll and HR administration. Experience of SAGE would be highly advantageous in addition to EXCEL. The role would be ideal for candidates who have exceptional knowledge of employment laws and practices especially around payroll. You will also have a high level of confidentiality and ability to prioritise and deliver to challenging deadlines.
