Job Description:
Can you develop and deliver engaging computer science lessons in line with the curriculum?
Do you have a passion for teaching and inspiring students in the field of computer science?
Are you able to assess student progress and offer constructive feedback that fosters learning and growth?
We are seeking a motivated Computer Science teacher in Blackpool to engage and teach KS3 and KS4 students. The position offers attractive daily rates, between £155 and £230, depending on your experience and qualifications.
In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons, helping students develop skills in programming, problem-solving, and digital technology. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating a positive learning environment and supporting students to succeed in computer science.

Responsibilities:
*Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
*Strong knowledge of the curriculum
*Punctual and reliable
*Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
*Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
*Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
*Set homework and mark promptly
*Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
*Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
*Respond to questioning
Preferred skills:
*Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
*Strong classroom management
*Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
*Be an inspiring and engaging communicator
*Use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience
Personal attributes:
*You will have a genuine passion for teaching
*Experience up to key stage 3/4
*QTS/PGCE equivalent
*Be flexible and committed
