Group Accountant - 3-6 Months Contract | Up to £75k-£80k | Central London | Hybrid Working

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a growing and dynamic business, offering up to £75k-£80k, along with hybrid working arrangements in a Central London office.

Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of consolidated financial accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
* Managing monthly close procedures and ensuring timely submission of VAT returns for all entities.
* Supporting year-end audit processes and liaising with external auditors.
* Preparing monthly and quarterly reporting packs.
* Maintaining fixed asset registers and overseeing capital expenditure authorisation.
* Ensuring compliance with tax regulations (VAT, CT, PAYE & NIC, CIS) and assisting with reconciliations.
* Production of consolidated forecasts, quarterly and annual budgets.
* Providing support for financial processes, ensuring robust controls are in place.

What You’ll Bring:
* Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent).
* Strong financial accounting experience, with a focus on balance sheet preparation.
* Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
* Experience with financial control and audit requirements.
* Familiarity with COINS ERP and IRIS accounts production is a plus.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills, with a proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
