Support Worker *Location: Catford

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated female Support Workers to join our team at a children’s home in Catford. This role is crucial for providing care and support to children, helping them to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
Day-to-day of the role: *Provide daily care and support to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
*Assist with daily activities and routines, including meal times, recreational activities, and bedtime preparations.
*Support the development of personal skills and independence through tailored activities.
*Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment within the home.
*Work closely with other team members and professionals to plan and coordinate care.
*Document care and progress through detailed reports and updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Experience in a care setting, preferably within children’s services.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*Compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
*Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with children.
*Must be female due to the nature of the care provided.
*Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends.
*Enhanced DBS check required.
