Fixed Term Contract - 6 months
East Grinstead
Reed Crawley is delighted to be partnered with a Health Organisation based in East Grinstead who are seeking a Deputy Service Co-ordinator to support Service Co-ordinators in delivering high-quality, efficient services within the Plastic Surgery department. This role involves managing administrative staff, liaising with consultants, and ensuring the achievement of performance targets. You will play a key role in implementing non-clinical management arrangements and organising waiting list initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support operational management and leadership within the Plastics speciality. - Manage administrative staff and assist with staff and financial resources. - Liaise with consultants to develop team strategies. - Organise and implement waiting list initiatives. - Develop and deliver training programmes for new staff.
Person Specification:
- Qualifications: Degree level or equivalent experience, RSA Level 3, knowledge of medical terminology. - Experience: Administrative experience in healthcare, staff management, planning skills. - Skills: Knowledge of healthcare administrative processes, IT systems, excellent communication. - Attributes: Motivated, resilient, able to work under pressure.
Additional Requirements:
- Highly motivated to meet targets and deadlines. - Self-motivated with little supervision required.
