The successful candidate will be key in inspiring students to develop a strong understanding and appreciation of mathematics. You will guide students through the complexities of mathematical concepts, problem-solving, and analytical thinking, ensuring lessons are both challenging and accessible. Your teaching will foster confidence, logical reasoning, and a passion for mathematics, preparing students for success in their exams and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive maths lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, tailored to the needs of students with varying abilities.
*Teach a range of mathematical topics, from algebra and geometry to statistics and calculus, ensuring students gain a deep understanding of key concepts.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback, while maintaining strong communication with parents and guardians.
Qualifications and Experience:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation in Mathematics or a related field.
*A degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
*Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level, ideally across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is a plus).
*Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and relevant exam specifications (GCSE, A-Level).
