Housing Support Worker
Rochdale
37.5 hours pw
Temporary - Permanent
£17 Umbrella ph
Our client, a social housing provider in Rochdale is recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to work with those facing homelessness.
Responsibilities of the Housing Support Worker include:
*Managing a caseload of homeless clients
*Liaising with Local Authorities housing teams surrounding new applications
*Supporting in the maintenance of the client waiting list
*Assessing new clients support needs
*Ensuring clients understand, and abide by their tenancy agreements
*Enabling clients to access employment, education and training opportunities
*Safeguarding clients and reporting any concerns
*Monitoring tenants rent accounts and supporting them to maximise their income
*Promoting clients to live independently and build lasting life skills
Essential criteria of the Housing Support Worker include:
*Enhanced DBS
*Experience within a similar supported living environment
