Job Description:
A well-established law firm is looking for an accomplished Systems Engineer to join its sizeable IT team. This organisation embraces flexibility so the chosen candidate will be able to work remotely 4/5 days per week, with occasional visits to the office and data centre based in the midlands.
In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility, you MUST be a consummate communicator with demonstrable expertise in the administration and support of Office 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure and VMware. In addition to this a working knowledge of Citrix, networking (switches) and SANs would be highly advantageous to your application.
Your focus will be on optimizing and improving the reliability of on-prem mem and cloud solutions and play a key role in maintaining, supporting and monitoring the technology estate including servers, storage, network, data and applications.
As part of a dynamic hybrid team you, you will be responsible for the operation, support and development of the IT infrastructure. Working with a broad range of technologies you will provide a proactive support service, ensuring systems remain accessible, available and well managed. You will also act as an escalation point for support issues such as loss-of-service incidents, maintenance and problem investigations.
