Job Description:
Location: Kidderminster
Hours: Mon - Thu 07:30am - 17:00pm Fri Early Finish
Pay: From £12.00 per hour
Contract: Temp - Perm
Pertemps has an exciting opportunity for individuals keen to join a growing manufacturing team in Kidderminster. We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to our client’s expanding operation. This role offers a Temporary to Permanent position with lots of potential and room to progress. As a General Operative you will be a part of the production process to ensure products are produced to the highest standard and exceed customers expectation.
The Duties of a General Operative: *Read and interpret technical drawings to understand assembly requirements.
*Operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as drills, saws, and sanders.
*Measure and cut materials according to specified dimensions.
*Assist in the installation of fixtures.
*Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment.
*Adhere to strict quality control standards throughout the production process.
The Requirements of a General Operative: *Previous experience in manufacturing or production is preferred.
*Experience using a variety of hand and power tools.
*Ability to work effectively working to deadlines.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
