Are you a skilled Financial Assistant seeking a hands-on role in a dynamic family business?
Valeco Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with an established company based in Edinburgh, who are looking for a dedicated Financial Assistant to join their team. This is a permanent full-time office based position offering a competitive salary up to £35,000 and free office parking.
About the Role:
As a Financial Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of the business. Your responsibilities will include:
*Overseeing payroll processing for approximately 20 staff.
*Conducting bank reconciliations and credit control.
*Preparing accounts up to the trial balance stage.
*Producing financial reports and analyses.
*Managing pricing, invoicing, and other financial transactions.
Required Skills:
*Proven experience as a Financial Assistant or in a similar role.
*Strong financial accounting knowledge and skills.
*Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*Attention to detail and accuracy.
