Job Description:
We are looking for Logistics Operatives to join our team in Pembridge, Herefordshire on a full time permanent basis. You will receive £12.12 per hour plus the relevant shift allowance.
Shift allowance is 26% for days, and 35% for nights. The shift patterns are:
*Monday to Friday 06:00 -14:00, 14:00 – 22:00,
*Sunday to Thursday 22:00 – 06:00
After successfully completing the training period, there may be the opportunity if it’s of interest, to work permanent nights.

As the Logistics Operative you will be focusing on all routine and non-routine activities associated within the department from incoming raw materials through to finished product being despatched in line with procedures and standards.
Responsibilities of our Logistics Operatives
*Pick, pack & load customer orders
*Put away finished product from production lines.
*Receive & book in raw materials
*Work efficiently and effectively, as part of a team
*Keep work areas clean & tidy at all times
*Achieve targets and KPI’s set
*Maintain high levels of Health & Safety standards, with an understanding of product quality critical characteristics and standards.
*Support and promote effective communication as a member of the team
What we are looking for in our Logistics Operatives:
You will have:
*Accredited lift truck training
*Previous experience working in a factory/ manufacturing process environment
*Ability to be flexible and willing to be trained in multiple areas whatever department and area this may be
*A “Can do attitude” and be a good team player
Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit:
*Full driving licence
*Able to follow instruction and Loading schedules
*Basic understanding of touch screen technology
*Experience of working with various IT programs i.e. MS Word, Excel, SAP
*Able to act quickly when problems arise
