Town Planner - Bristol
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000, depending on experience.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Town Planner to join a reputable urban planning consultancy based in Bristol. The company is seeking a skilled and driven individual to contribute to a diverse range of urban development projects. The role offers the flexibility to work from either the Bristol or Cardiff office, depending on preference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and submission of planning applications
- Provide expert planning advice on a variety of urban development projects
- Conduct research and assess local planning policies and regulations
- Collaborate with senior planners, clients, and external stakeholders
- Manage planning projects through all stages of development
Key Requirements:
- RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or related field
- Professional experience in private consultancy
- Must have started the APC and be actively pursuing chartership
- In-depth knowledge of planning law and policy
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
