We are pleased to be supporting a successful manufacturing business in their search for an experienced Transport manager to join their team.
The Role
The Transport Manager will oversee the daily management of the company vehicle fleet, transport operations, and depot network, ensuring all aspects of delivery are conducted efficiently, safely, and in line with company policies. This role is critical to ensuring that all vehicle compliance, driver operations, and deliveries to depots and customers are executed with maximum productivity and minimal cost.
The Person
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong commercial awareness, leadership, and a hands-on approach to managing both internal teams and external logistics partners. The Transport Manager will also be expected to act as a proactive problem-solver, working independently to resolve operational challenges and continuously improve transport processes.
