Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for Import Coordinators across West London
Main Duties and Responsibilities: * Shipment Coordination:
*Track and monitor incoming international shipments.
*Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents.
*Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
* Documentation:
*Handle and organize customs documentation.
*Ensure compliance with import laws and regulations.
*Maintain accurate records of all imports and shipments.
* Problem Solving:
*Identify and resolve any shipment and import issues.
*Communicate effectively with suppliers, clients, and transport companies.
* Compliance:
*Ensure all activities comply with local, national, and international trade regulations.
*Stay updated on current import and export trends and regulations.
* Logistics Planning:
*Plan and implement logistics strategies for future imports.
*Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities.
Skills and Qualifications: *Experience: Proven work experience as an Import Coordinator or similar role.
*Knowledge: Understanding of import regulations and procedures.
*Skills: Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
*Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office.
*Education: High school diploma; a degree in supply chain management or a related field is a plus.
