About the Firm:

The Role:
As a Senior Audit Manager specialising in the Not-for-Profit sector, you will play a key role in overseeing audit engagements and ensuring the highest quality of service for the firm’s NFP clients. You’ll lead a dedicated team, working closely with partners to provide strategic insight and value to a portfolio of NFP organisations, including charities, educational institutions, and other non-profit entities.

Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion for a diverse portfolio of NFP clients.
*Ensure audits are carried out in compliance with regulatory standards and the firm’s internal quality processes.
*Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing them with expert advice on complex financial and audit-related matters.
*Manage, mentor, and develop a team of auditors, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
*Assist in the development and implementation of audit strategies, improving efficiencies and client service.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring long-term partnerships.
Skills & Experience:
*ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
*Extensive audit experience within the Not-for-Profit sector is essential.
*Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing audit teams.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
*Up-to-date knowledge of UK audit regulations and NFP accounting standards.
*Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
