The Role: Business Development Associate

The Business Development Associate is responsible for supporting the Partnerships and Development team in the identification and qualification of growth opportunities across the advice business as well as supporting the various tasks within our Ecosystem. This role reports into the Head of Partnership & Business Development, assisting the team with coordination efforts contributing to the overall recruitment, development and succession planning activities within the M&G Wealth advise ecosystem.

Key skills and experience
*Experience of working in a customer facing role is essential
*Experience of working within Financial Services is desirable, where you will have developed a commercial mindset
*Resilient, confident and enthusiastic
*Excellent communication skills- telephone/Teams meetings
*Ability to work well under pressure, remaining calm to handle objections, demonstrating an ability to ’think outside the box’
*Can work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload on an inter-daily basis, dynamically responding to the requirements of the role
*Demonstrates accountability and ownership for delivery
*Effective communication skills with an ability to interpret and articulate requirements, resolve issues and manage complex/technical enquiries
