Job Purpose
As a Conference Producer, you will be responsible for the content planning, development, and execution of high-profile conferences and events within the supply chain, logistics, robotics, and automation industries. You will oversee the entire conference lifecycle, from conceptualisation to post-event evaluation.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end content production, which includes conducting in-depth industry research, designing agenda themes, and securing top-tier speakers.
By providing essential support across various aspects of conference production, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, successful events that meet organisational objectives and exceed attendee expectations.
Core Tasks
*Conduct thorough research with industry leaders to understand key priorities and challenges in the sector, informing the event programme’s content.
*Work closely with the marketing team to develop strategies for event promotion and drive bookings, generating captivating promotional content for various channels.
*Collaborate with the commercial team, sharing market intelligence and leads, and ensuring sponsor speakers are successfully integrated into the event programme.
*Manage logistical elements of conference seminars, ensuring all sessions run smoothly and any changes are effectively managed.
*Identify, invite, and confirm high-calibre speakers for each event, ensuring they are well-prepared with necessary materials.
*Design conference agendas that excite and engage, with fresh, innovative approaches to sessions and speaker formats, strong copy writing skills are a must.
*Website content - ensure all content areas of the website related to the seminar are kept fully up to date and populated with latest speaker news and content.
Key Skills
*Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
*At least 1 year of experience in conference production or a similar role.
*Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions meticulously.
*Exceptional interpersonal skills and confident communication abilities.
*Demonstrated willingness to learn and highly adaptable to changes.
*Strong time management skills, showcasing the ability to prioritise and complete tasks ahead of deadlines.
*Readiness to travel both domestically and internationally.
*The ability to meet deadlines and comfortably manage multiple events.
*The ability to foster and manage professional relationships internally and externally.
