An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Accounts Receivable professional in the Transport & Distribution sector. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Accounting & Finance department, ensuring efficient processing and recording of company’s accounts receivable.

Description
*Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
*Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data.
*Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and correctly posted.
*Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
*Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues.
*Facilitate swift payment of invoices due to the organisation by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
*Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients.
*Follow up on, collect and allocate payments.
Profile
A successful Accounts Receivable should have:
*A degree in finance or accounting.
*Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel.
*Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
*Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
*Strong data entry skills and an eye for detail and accuracy.
*Hands-on in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (JDE or other full-scale ER software).
*Commutable to West London
