Job Description:
You will be working for a market leading business who have the UK’s largest independent work shop based in the West Midlands. You will be responsible for proactive & reactive maintenance on a range of electrical, mechanical & machine shop equipment.

My client are a market leading business who have the UK’s largest independent work shop based in the West Midlands. They are specialists in the machining of various materials supplying into a range of different industries & client base.
Description
You will be responsible for maintenance across a variety of different equipment in a busy machine shop, as well as:
*Perform regular inspections on machine shop equipment to ensure optimal operation.
*Execute timely repairs on faulty machinery to minimise downtime.
*Collaborate with the production team to implement production efficiency improvements.
*Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
*Document maintenance procedures and machinery audits.
*Provide training to the production staff on machine operation and safety protocols.
*Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning
*Use horizontal single & twin spindle, twin pallet milling machines
*Use single spindle lathes
Monday - Friday
06:00 - 14:00 (Can be flexible on start & finish times)
Early finish on a Friday
Profile
You will be an experience Maintenance Technician/Machine Shop Technician, with experience using CNC machines, as well as:
*Recognised engineering qualification (Ideally, apprenticeship trained)
*Competent at reading electrical & hydraulic drawings
*Experience in low voltage control systems
*Understanding of Fanuc, Siemens CNC Control Systems
*Good knowledge of Mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems
*Work with DC drives
