Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Job type: full-time, Temporary
Location: North Kent, United Kingdom

Your new role:
As a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the finance team, ensuring the smooth processing of invoices and payments. Your responsibilities will include,
*Matching purchase orders to invoices and posting to the accounting ledger.
*Assist in query resolutions including liaising with administrators/suppliers.
*Perform weekly automated invoice matching run.
*Assist in preparation of reports to local management team
*Ensure the finance inbox is monitored, and action is taken as required.
*Ensure all supplier/subcontractor reconciliations are completed on time.
*Update the monthly balance sheet reconciliations file as required.
*Provide any financial analysis as required.
*Assist in the internal/external audit where appropriate.
*Any other ad-hoc finance work as directed by the Management Accountant.
What you’ll need to succeed:
*Able to work quickly and accurately and under own initiative.
*Proven track record of meeting tight monthly deadlines in a very busy environment
*A high level of understanding around financial processes.
*Excellent data analysis skills and intermediate excel skills are necessary.
*Ability to communicate financial information to a non-finance audience.
*Microsoft Navision/Dynamics experience would be an advantage but not essential.
