Job Description:
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Technician (Motor Vehicle) to join a dynamic college team, in Cambridge. In this role, you will provide essential technical support and maintenance within our Automotive department. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about contributing to the education and training of future professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
*Maintenance and Repair: Ensure all equipment in workshops and training areas is maintained and repaired.
*Preparation for Sessions: Set up equipment and tools for practical sessions and demonstrations.
*Support During Sessions: Assist lecturing staff during practical sessions while upholding all safety practices.
*Inventory Management: Maintain appropriate stock levels and manage inventory effectively.
*Contribution to Development: Actively contribute to course design, team meetings, and the overall expansion of the department.
What We Are Looking For:
*Qualifications: Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle.
*Experience: At least 2 years of relevant trade experience.
*Skills: Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to the engineering industry. Excellent interpersonal, administrative, and communication skills.
*Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing environments.
