This company is a well-established renewable energy provider known for its expertise in Commercial Solar PV projects. With an impressive track record and recent growth, the company is looking for a Business Development Manager to expand its market presence across the UK and Ireland. The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the company’s ambitious growth plans while promoting sustainable energy solutions to high-profile commercial clients.
Role Overview:
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, boosting revenue, and supporting the expansion of the sales team. This is a hands-on role that involves managing the sales process from lead generation through to contract signature and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless handover to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and implement a new sales strategy for long-term growth.
*Manage inbound leads from initial inquiry through to contract closure.
*Visit prospective clients, present the company?s services, and recommend tailored solutions.
*Collaborate with the design team to create solutions that meet customer requirements.
*Identify and respond to tender opportunities with successful bids.
*Proactively research and pursue new leads within the Commercial & Industrial sector.
*Ensure a smooth transition of projects from sales to project delivery.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
*Strong commercial acumen with a consultative sales style.
*Proven experience in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar sector.
*Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders.
*Successful track record in managing bids and contracts, ideally up to £3 million.
*Familiarity with ISO standards and CRM systems.
*Clean driving license.
