Job Description:
The Role:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join our passionate teaching team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher, or an ECT, to grow their career in a supportive and collaborative setting. You will be responsible for delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring that students receive a high standard of education and nurturing a love for learning during their crucial first year of school.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum.
*Monitor and assess the progress of pupils, identifying and addressing individual needs.
*Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and development.
*Use a play-based approach to learning that fosters curiosity and creativity.
*Work closely with teaching assistants, other teachers, and staff to support each child’s growth.
*Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress.
*Support the social, emotional, and academic development of all children, ensuring they feel safe and valued.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*Experience teaching in an EYFS or primary school setting is desirable.
*A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
*Strong classroom management skills tailored to younger children.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
