The problem you’ll be solving.
WeShape have a unique operating model - our core team is made up of technical consultants and ex industry technology recruiters which enables us to identify customer technical pain points, build solutions and mobilise teams rapidly, at scale.
Our solutions include organisational & technical advisory, squad deployment, on-demand consultants, training & coaching and talent advisory.
We are looking for an ambitious individual to take the reins of our marketing department to drive the business towards growth. You will have the creative freedom to utilise your budget and implement your ideas, utilising our various dedicated partners to achieve this, as well as managing our Content Lead and building the Marketing Team out around you both.
Your role will include building strategic relationships (with other department heads, clients, and the internal team), building our content strategy and brand awareness to ensure we are well known in the consulting market, and working with your budget and resources to generate leads to support our dedicated sales team.
You will have a voice and be involvement in our ExCo meetings, exposure to and involvement in some of the industry’s biggest and best events, as well as generous L&D opportunities in the company.
Our priorities for this role:
* Manage a full marketing strategy via various pre-established and new channels, and reporting results to the board on a monthly basis

* Drive lead generation, building processes to manage this and working closely with the sales team on the follow-up process

* Maximise brand awareness, utilising our marketing channels to push our company message and help us be known as the best consultancy in the tech market

* Manage various strategic agency and consultant partners, getting the best out of them

How we achieve these priorities will be up to you, but we’d imagine a typical week to include:
* Manage the marketing team : Running 1-1’s, assigning, delegating and managing workload

* Monitoring and tweaking our lead generation channels via Salesforce/Pardot, working closely with the sales team

* Managing our various branding channels (website, SEO, social media)

This role is for you if:
* You like the idea of autonomy over an entire department, with creative freedom to implement your own ideas utilising a generously allocated budget

* You like working independently, being trusted to manage the department and be held responsible for it

* You are passionate about marketing

* You have excellent communication skills and are willing to collaborate with multiple departments and stakeholders; both external and internal

* If you like working with experienced third parties to assist with the strategy and different channel delivery (consultants, agencies)

Ideally you’ll:
* 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B/Consultancy

* Experience/exposure to SEO

* Experience/exposure to paid ads

* A top tier attention to detail, and a clear organised calendar

* Management experience

* Virtual and in-person events experience

* Examples of successful lead generation strategies you have managed

* Concise and clear presenting skills

* Experience reporting to senior leadership via board meetings

* 1+ years experience on Salesforce or Pardot

* Experience and appreciation of cross collaboration across internal and external teams
