Head of Faculty - Science (Represented by Dunbar Education)
Permanent Role | January or Easter Start
MPS/UPS Dependent on experience plus TLR point 1.2

Dunbar Education is thrilled to represent an outstanding opportunity for a passionate Science Teacher to take on the Head of Faculty role within a high-achieving Science department. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team of seven Science teachers, fostering a positive learning environment and consistently delivering strong results. *Lead the Science Faculty, raising standards and ensuring exceptional teaching across the department.
*Foster and communicate a shared vision within the team to support and inspire growth.
*Play a key role in the operational leadership of the academy, collaborating with senior leadership.
*Contribute to strategies that drive teaching excellence, student achievement, staff development, and well-being.
Ideal Candidate Profile
*Collaborative, forward-thinking, and committed to achieving the highest standards.
*Proven record of successful teaching across all key stages, with an ability to make learning both challenging and enjoyable.
*Holds Qualified Teacher Status and a strong academic background, ideally with an Honours Degree or equivalent.
*Experience with both curricular and pastoral responsibilities.
*Exhibits high personal standards, including reliability, punctuality, and organizational skills.
*Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
*Positive, enthusiastic, and professional approach to teaching and leadership.
*Engages in CPD and open to further professional development.
