Job Description:
We are partnered with a well-established PE backed technology company based in central London, who have well over 250 members of staff across a handful of offices and are growing continuously, on the search for an audit trained technical accountant to fill the position of their newly created Financial Controller vacancy.
As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
*Responsibility for all month end reporting across central cost departments ensuring accuracy, completeness and that all deadlines are achieved
*Managing the month end close process
*Responsibility for preparation of the month end reporting packs for the Board, external investors and debt providers
*Ownership of Group payroll process and reporting
*Leading the annual audit and accounts prep process
*Finance lead on all relevant systems
*Implementing systems and controls improvements across the Group
*Ownership of the Group VAT reporting and assisting with wider Group tax compliance
*Assisting with formulation of budget and forecast for central cost department
*Be the internal lead for all technical accounting queries
*Weekly Cashflow forecasting
*Management of the central AP and AR teams
Qualifications, skills and experience required for the position of Financial Controller:
*You must be ACA or ACCA qualified
*Ideally top 10 audit trained
*Excellent technicasl accounting knowledge
*Strong communication skills to liaise with senior leaders
*Well organised with the ability to deal with multiple projects and priorities
This role is paying circa £80,000 per annum as well as offering a competitive benefits package including pension, healthcare, hybrid working and much more.
