Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT and Technical Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support customers with IT-related issues, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems, setting up and configuring equipment, and installing IT, network, audiovisual (AV), and security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide first and second-line support to customers via on-site visits, phone, and email.
*Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for both technical and non-technical users.
*Set up, configure, and install hardware, IT systems, networks, AV equipment, and security systems.
*Collaborate with senior engineers on installations and project-based work.
*Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, offering professional and clear communication.
*Document incidents and create detailed, accurate notes.
*Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
This role involves a mix of office-based and on-site work, with travel across Glasgow and regular trips throughout the UK.
Full UK Driving Licence Required
