Job Description:
I’m seeking a 1st Line Support Technician on behalf of a cutting-edge biotech company in Cambridge. This is a fantastic 3-month interim opportunity with the potential to go permanent.

Please not this role is full-time on site in Cambridge.

Key Responsibilities:
*Provide 1st line IT support for circa 130 users.
*Log and manage IT support tickets, ensuring timely responses and solutions.
*Set up and configure new user devices, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
*Assist with basic network troubleshooting, password resets, and access requests.
*Escalate more complex issues to Senior IT Engineer / IT Manager
*Support staff with common applications such as Office 365 and various applications.
*Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that technical support is delivered efficiently and professionally.

Experience Required:
*Previous experience in a 1st line IT support role.
*Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking and hardware setup.
*Experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and basic troubleshooting of software and hardware.
*Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
*Proactive, with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
