Our client, an exceptional nursing is looking for an experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead its home. With a focus on nursing, dementia, and palliative care, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate Nursing Home Manager with a proven track record in managing nursing homes and a dedication to delivering the highest standards of care.
As the Nursing Home Manager, you’ll ensure residents receive person-centred, compassionate care while driving the home’s overall success. From overseeing daily operations to fostering a positive community culture, this role is ideal for a leader committed to quality care and regulatory excellence.
What we’re looking for:
*Experience: Previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager in a medium-to-large nursing home setting is essential.
*Qualifications: Nursing qualification (preferred) or a Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
*Care Specialisations: Strong background in nursing, dementia, and palliative care with a deep commitment to person-centred support.
*Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with CQC requirements, care assessments, and care planning standards.
*Financial Acumen: Proven experience in managing budgets and achieving financial targets.
*Occupancy: Ability to develop and implement effective strategies to increase occupancy and enhance the home’s reputation.
*Leadership Skills: Strong ability to recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing care team.
Your day-to-day:
*Leadership and Team Development: Recruit, develop, and manage a dedicated team of carers and nursing staff, fostering a positive, supportive, and collaborative environment.
*Quality Care Delivery: Oversee and review individualized care assessments and care plans in line with CQC requirements to ensure exceptional standards of nursing, dementia, and palliative care.
*Operational Management: Lead and manage daily operations, ensuring that all activities align with the home’s values and priorities for resident well-being and safety.
*Financial Oversight: Manage budgets effectively, focusing on financial health and sustainable growth for the home.
*Occupancy Growth: Increase occupancy rates by marketing the home’s services and building a respected brand within the local community.
*Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a full understanding of CQC regulations, upholding compliance, and striving for continuous improvement in care quality and standards.
