Job Description:
Are you ready to take the next step in your career within trust and estate administration? An exceptional opportunity has arisen at a leading law firm for a Junior Trust and Estate Administrator to join their dynamic team.
This role offers a unique chance to work closely with experienced professionals, providing key support in the management and administration of client trusts and estates. You will ensure full compliance with legal requirements and client instructions while preparing annual trust accounts, trust tax returns, IHT accounts, R185s, and related documentation. Your responsibilities will also include handling submissions to HMRC, maintaining the trust register, CRS reporting, and preparing AE01 returns. Additionally, you will be involved in drafting trustee resolutions and simple deeds, such as changes of trustees, as well as preparing tax returns for deceased individuals up to the date of death.
To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring some experience in accounts preparation and a foundational understanding of trust administration and tax returns. A professional accounting qualification, whether completed or currently in progress, is essential. Alongside your technical skills, you will demonstrate excellent organisational abilities, outstanding attention to detail, and strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
