About the role
In your role as Planning and Campaigns Manager you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset.
This role will provide a great opportunity to support the development of materials in the planning and project cycle, and project managing our campaigning efforts as we look to amplify our activity externally.
The role will involve working closely with our team leads across different channels – such as media, public affairs, and internal communications – to coordinate and support in the delivery of integrated communications campaigns, while also helping to develop and implement our team’s approach to reporting, planning, and events.
What you will be doing
As a trusted part of the Corporate Affairs you will be responsible for:
*Work closely with the Head of Strategic Communications to support the development and implementation of our Corporate Affairs plans and managing tracking activity and progress against those plans
*Project manage a series of campaigns, acting as the central coordinator of the input from colleagues across different channels and business areas – such as media, public affairs, social channels, internal comms, and member comms – as well as helping to manage and effectively utilise our external agency relationships
*Manage the planning and delivery of events and set-piece reports coordinating internal resources, exec and non-exec participants/ sponsors and third-party stakeholders/ suppliers
*Support in the design, planning, and delivery of the various strategic projects across the Corporate Affairs department
*Oversee the team reporting/monitoring framework and lead on formal reporting to key stakeholders internally
*Support in the development and implementation of effective Corporate Affairs team processes

*Able to effectively prioritise, plan and organise multiple deliverables at once
*Strong project management and planning skills
*Experience in developing evaluation and reporting frameworks
*Events management experience
*Experience of working within a large team, and balancing multiple different stakeholders within a fast-paced environment
*Some experience of working with or within integrated communications functions, and / or a background in pensions/financial services, is seen as a positive but not essential
*Experience with thought leadership / external facing campaigns is helpful but not essential
