Estimator/Quantity Surveyor

Salary Dependent On Experience

Our client is looking for an experienced Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join their team and work on various projects in Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, and Berkshire, valued between £200K and £2.5 million. The projects cover various sectors, including heritage works, retail, and industrial new builds and refurbishments.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual seeking a career move to a busy construction business with a solid and well-established pipeline of work and a good client base.
Your Responsibilities:
*Produce accurate and detailed estimates for projects.
*Prepare tenders for new business.
*Manage costs for each project.
*Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
*Demonstrate a commercial mindset.
Ideal Candidate Should Have:
*Experience in estimating within a contracting background.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*Attention to detail.
*Experience presenting technical information.
*Strong leadership skills.
*Self-motivation to succeed individually and as part of a team.
*Ability to create winning bids and tenders.
