JDS Tuition Services are committed to providing exceptional support and personalised learning for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. Our goal is to empower each student to reach their fullest potential through customised educational strategies and steadfast support.
Role Overview:
We are looking for passionate and dedicated SEN/SEMH Tutors with PGCE or QTS qualifications to join our team in Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas. The ideal candidates will offer individualised instruction and support, helping students overcome learning barriers and achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
*Conduct personalised tutoring sessions tailored to the needs of students with SEN/SEMH, adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
*Develop and implement customised learning plans in collaboration with educational professionals and parents.
*Provide emotional and social support to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
*Monitor and assess student progress, keeping detailed records and adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
*Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure a comprehensive approach to student development.
*Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated with best practices in SEN/SEMH education.
Requirements:
*PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) / QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or experience within a similar role
*Proven experience working with SEN/SEMH students
*Strong understanding of various SEN/SEMH conditions and effective teaching strategies
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs
*Ability to work independently
*Flexibility to adapt to the diverse needs of students
