Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00 -16:00; Friday 07:00-13:00
Salary: £35,000
About the Role
I’m proud to be recruiting for an established business on the Norfolk / Suffolk border who are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team. The role involves manufacturing new tooling and ancillary components, maintaining existing tools, and providing essential engineering support to production units.
Key Responsibilities
*Manufacture new tooling using a range of machinery, tools, and equipment.
*Maintain and repair existing tooling to ensure optimal functionality.
*Support production teams with engineering expertise as needed.
*Follow health, safety, quality, and environmental management policies.
*Uphold high housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements for the role
*NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification.
*Proven experience in a technical or engineering environment.
*Skills in milling, turning, CNC machining, and grinding.
*The ability to work independently, take initiative, and remain accountable.
*Problem-solving skills with a methodical and logical approach.
*A commitment to continuous improvement and high standards of service.
