Head of History - September 2025 Start
Location: Enfield, Greater London
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role
As the Head of History, you will:
*Lead the History department, fostering a culture of curiosity and engagement with the subject.
*Plan, deliver, and oversee high-quality teaching and learning from KS3 to KS5.
*Support your team in delivering an inspiring and enriching curriculum that promotes critical thinking and a deep understanding of historical events.
*Monitor student progress and implement strategies to ensure continued success and improvement.
*Work closely with senior leadership to align the department’s vision with the wider school goals.

*Is committed to fostering a love of history and delivering exceptional student outcomes.
*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and is eligible to work in the UK.
