This role is ideal for someone enrolled in or planning to enrol in a dental nursing course who wants to gain practical, hands-on experience in a professional and supportive setting. Key Responsibilities: Chairside Assistance: Support dental professionals during treatments, ensuring they have the necessary tools and maintaining a clean working environment. Instrument Sterilisation: Clean, sterilise, and organise dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols. Patient Care: Help patients feel comfortable during their visits, providing reassurance and answering any questions they may have. Administrative Support: Maintain accurate patient records, assist with appointment scheduling, and perform basic administrative tasks. Stock Monitoring: Keep track of supplies and materials, ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. Skills and Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail. A collaborative, team-oriented approach. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of a busy practice. A professional and patient-focused attitude. Requirements: Right to work in the UK. Hepatitis B. Enrolment or commitment to enrol in a recognised NEBDN dental nursing course. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and appointments.
