Job Title: Part-Time Accounts Assistant
Location: Broxbourne (Turnford Head Office)
Hours: Flexible - 3 full days (9:30 AM - 5:30 PM) or 5 part days
Contract: Initial 4-month term, potential for permanent role
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 FTE (depending on experience)

Join an exciting and dynamic events company based in Broxbourne! We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional experiences and are seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to support our Finance Manager and ensure the smooth running of our department.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage purchase orders and invoices.
*Reconcile supplier statements and process expenses.
*Handle petty cash, company credit cards, and cashbook reconciliations.
*Create sales invoices and assist with VAT returns.
*Generate weekly aged debtor and creditor reports.
*Support ad-hoc administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and responding to supplier queries.
What We’re Looking For
*Experience: 5+ years in accounting/finance with a strong understanding of bookkeeping.
*Skills: Proficient in Sage 50 Accounting and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
*Attributes: Impeccable time-management, organizational skills, and proactive mindset. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities are essential.
